Service: Soil Remediation for PFAS Contamination

Description:

ACC was retained to oversee the remediation of a fuel tanker spill affecting soil, groundwater, and surface water. The project required a multi-phase environmental response, including initial spill containment, site assessment, and long-term remediation efforts. ACC performed:

• Subsurface soil and groundwater investigations to determine the extent of contamination.
• Surface water sampling and treatment measures to prevent further migration of petroleum contaminants.
• Excavation and removal of petroleum-contaminated soil (PCS) to restore impacted areas.

Following remediation, ACC conducted confirmation testing to verify regulatory compliance and ensure environmental restoration. Outcome: ACC successfully restored the site, mitigated environmental risks, and met all regulatory requirements for closure and reporting.
