Service: Soil Remediation for PFAS Contamination
Facility Type: Roadside Environmental Cleanup
Description:
ACC was contracted to perform a soil-only cleanup to address per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination caused by the use of aqueous film-forming foam (AFFF) during a roadside tanker fuel spill emergency response. ACC worked alongside a selected environmental construction contractor to oversee the excavation, removal, and disposal of PFAS-impacted soil. A detailed sampling and confirmation analysis ensured that all contaminated soil was successfully removed per environmental regulatory standards. Outcome: The project was completed on time and in full compliance with environmental cleanup requirements, ensuring that the impacted area met all regulatory closure conditions.
